Barrier free tolling system now in place on M50 motorway.
Renters driving to Dublin should keep in mind that drivers of vehicles using the M50 motorway between Junction 6 and Junction 7
are liable to pay a toll.
Where do I pay the toll?
You have the following options to pay the toll.
- By cash at any of the nationwide Payzone outlets.
- LoCall 1890 50 10 50 or +800 50 10 50 11 (outside Ireland) and pay by Debit Card or Credit Card
- On the internet at www.eflow.ie
There are a number of Payzone outlets close to Dublin Airport
- There are two payzone Kiosks in the Airport, one in Arrivals and one in Departures.
- The Esso Petrol Station in the Airport
- Texaco Petrol Station at Nevinstown (near Swords)
How much does it cost?
Cars cost €3 per passing. Vehicles with seating for more than 8 people cost €3.80
Tolls must be paid by 8pm on the day following the passing.
Penalties for non payment
- Not paid by 8pm on the following day: Toll+€3 penalty.
- Not paid by 8pm within the next 14 days: Toll+€43 penalty.
- Not paid within a further 56 days: Toll+€143 penalty.
Unpaid tolls and violation charges relating to rental vehicles will be referred by the authorities
to Budget who will process payment through customer's credit cards. Budget will not accept liability
for violation charges arising from unpaid tolls and these will be included in charges passed on to customers.
An administration fee may also apply.
